Some love stories are worth crossing state lines for, and that couldn't be more true for Auset and Ben. As a photographer who also made the journey from New York to South Carolina, their story resonated with me deeply. When Auset, from NY, and Ben, a Greenville native, decided to tie the knot, they chose the perfect rustic and romantic setting of Greenbrier Farms in Easley, SC. Their day was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and the kind of love that feels like coming home.
One of the most unique and moving parts of the day happened before the ceremony even began. After their emotional first look, Auset and Ben were joined by their closest family and friends—some of whom arrived in a joyfully packed-out SUV!—for a private vow ceremony. Surrounded by their inner circle, they spoke from the heart, creating a moment of pure, intimate connection that set the tone for the entire day.
From there, the day unfolded with a beautiful blend of happy tears and laughter. The outdoor ceremony by the lake was a heartfelt reflection of their deep-rooted faith, and the reception in the barn was a true family celebration.

As a wedding photographer, I've seen many parent dances, but the emotional first dance between Auset and her mother was a moment I know I'll remember.

When the sun began to set, Greenbrier Farms gave us the most incredible golden light for their portraits. We wandered down a narrow road lined with trees, creating some of my favorite images from the day. It was in these quiet moments, and the hilarious ones (like trying to fit a videographer under the veil!), that you could truly see the depth of their connection.
The night ended with a magical sparkler exit, as Auset and Ben ran straight to their getaway car, a perfect ending to their South Carolina adventure.
